What does Maintenance-Free Living mean?

At Riverbend Estates maintenance-free living means you never have to mow the lawn or shovel snow again! It is all taken care of for you. It is included in the monthly common fee. The exterior of the home requires little to no maintenance. Each home at Riverbend has vinyl siding, composite material decks and PVC trim.

How many homes will be in the active adult community?

The Riverbend Estates Community consist of 25 luxurious single-family homes nestled in a warm and inviting neighborhood. Currently 19 homes are sold and occupied. The final phase is underway with 5 remaining lots.

Can I customize my home?

Yes! The interior of each home can be customized to fit your requirements and lifestyle.

Are your homes energy efficient?

Yes. Our homes are built with energy efficient windows, heating/ac systems to maximize your comfort and minimize your cost.

How big are the homes?

We offer 3 luxurious one level home-styles that range from 1414 S.F to 1952 S.F. Homeowners can increase their living space by finishing off the lower level. (Walkout lots available per plan)

Can the homeowners have pets?

Yes, pets are welcomed! Limit of 2.

What is Riverbend Estate’s policy on children?

Children are always welcomed. Children 18 and older can live with the homeowner.

How close is Riverbend Estates to major highways, shopping, dining medical facilities?

Riverbend Estates is convenient to the major highways (Route8, I-84, Merritt Parkway, I-95 & Route 25). They all are within 5- 18 miles. Fine dining of all cuisines, medical facilities and shopping are within 5 -10 miles.

Where do the home-owners grocery shop?

There are many grocery stores and pharmacies within 5 miles. Many of the home-owners shop at Stop & Shop (Seymour) and Shop Rite (Derby).

What is included in Riverbend Estate’s monthly common fee?

The monthly common fee includes lawn maintenance (mowing, fertilizing, weeding and mulching flower beds), snow removal (walkway, front porch and driveway), rubbish pick up, roof/siding replacement reserve and activation/winterization of irrigation systems.
